About Me
I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I received my PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from HKUST under the supervision of Prof. Qian Zhang and Prof. Jin Zhang. My research addresses human-centric physical world problems with ubiquitous computing approaches. Specifically, my research designs ubiquitous sensing systems and robust AI models to ease access to human activity measurement, enabling applications such as home-based healthcare and HCI on resources-constrained devices. My work has been published in top peer-reviewed journals and conferences such as ACM UbiComp/IMWUT, MobiCom, SenSys, and IEEE PerCom.
