My research solves human-centric problems using ubiquitous sensors and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) systems. Understanding human behaviour is crucial in domains such as healthcare, wellbeing, and interactive entertainment, yet current approaches often depend on bulky, bespoke hardware that limits their accessibility and real-world impact. In response, my research designs ubiquitous sensing systems and robust AI algorithms to ease the measurement and interpretation human activities, enabling critical applications such as home-based healthcare and interaction with wearable devices. My research is highly interdisciplinary, where I work closely with domain experts such as health professionals to identify real world problems, and use ubiquitous sensing methods to solve them practically. My work has been published in top peer-reviewed journals and conferences such as ACM MobiCom, CHI, and UbiComp/IMWUT.
